What we do.

Rahab's Daughters UK is dedicated to preventing human trafficking through education, awareness, and support. We assist survivors to exit sex and/or labour trafficking and rebuild their lives. We also help communities to prevent sex and labour trafficking across the UK through awareness building and prevention programmes.We equip individuals, businesses, and communities with the knowledge to recognise the signs of exploitation and respond appropriately through training and awareness programmes. We also help connect people in urgent need with emergency accommodation through trusted third-party providers and support survivors on their journey toward independence through services such as employment assistance and reintegration support.

Human trafficking strips people of their freedom, dignity, and ability to make their own choices. More than 25 million people around the world are living in situations of modern slavery. While anyone can become a victim, people facing vulnerability—including those experiencing poverty, displacement, discrimination, or limited opportunities—are at the greatest risk of exploitation.

Using technology-driven tools and intelligence gathering, we work to identify potential victims and uncover indicators of exploitation. By combining technology with community education, we help bring hidden cases to light and connect relevant organizations and authorities with information that may assist victims.

Together, person by person and community by community, we can raise awareness, protect those at risk, identify those who may be trapped in exploitation, and help create pathways toward safety, support, and independence.

Our UK Work

What We Do in the UK

Rahab's Daughters UK's Main focus is identification, prevention, and education through specific workshops, rather than focusing on rescuing missions (it is already stated in the UK website that content and practices are aligned with the UK National Referral Mechanism). Our work is rooted in ethical practice and aligned with the UK National Referral Mechanism.

We focus on identification, prevention, and education — delivering specialist workshops, equipping professionals to respond to risk, and working alongside local institutions, industries, and third-party providers to support survivor referral and rebuilding.

Our Approach

Why We Work Differently Here

USA/CANADA explicitly states “rescue” missions. With US website having the 3 R’s (rescue, rehabilitation, reintegration) with reference to hotlines, collaboration with law enforcement, medical care etc.

UK website focuses more on training people to respond to risk, working with various institutions, using third-party providers for rehousing, and providing support services for individuals to use for rebuilding.Emphasis on using local systems, industries, and professionals for survivor referral, rather than setting up safehouses and physical interventions (US/CANADA focuses on this).
